Leadership (Cyberpunk RED)
Definition
Leadership is the ability to inspire, command, and coordinate others—rallying allies in combat, directing team tactics, and keeping people focused when fear and chaos threaten to scatter them. In Night City's violent and unpredictable environment, strong leadership can turn a disorganized crew into a coordinated strike team. Leadership uses your COOL stat and represents both the charisma to inspire and the authority to command. It covers rallying demoralized allies, coordinating tactical movements, directing hired muscle or allied NPCs, and maintaining crew cohesion when a job goes sideways. While Cyberpunk RED is about individual edgerunners, those edgerunners work in teams, and someone needs to call the shots. A leader keeps the crew on task, resolves disputes in the field, and makes the hard calls that keep everyone alive. In a city where trust is rare and loyalty is rarer, the ability to lead is genuinely powerful.

Frequently asked questions
Can Leadership work on player characters?
Mechanically, Leadership primarily affects NPCs. For player characters, it's more about the roleplay and any bonuses the GM provides. Players decide their own actions, but a successful Leadership check might provide a mechanical boost.
