Celerity (Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition)

Disciplines

Definition

Celerity is the Discipline of supernatural speed and reflexes, allowing vampires to move and act faster than mortals can perceive. It grants incredible agility, reaction time, and the ability to perform multiple actions in a single turn. Celerity is one of the most versatile physical Disciplines, useful in both combat and social situations. Vampires with Celerity can dodge attacks, close distances instantly, and perform feats of acrobatics that would be impossible for mortals. At higher levels, Celerity allows vampires to move so fast they appear as blurs, dodge bullets, and perform multiple actions before their opponents can react.

How it works

**Clans with Celerity**: Banu Haqim, Brujah, Toreador **Basic Powers**: - **Level 1**: Add Celerity dice to Dexterity + Athletics rolls for movement and acrobatics - **Level 2**: Take an extra action per turn (costs 1 Rouse check) - **Level 3**: Move so fast you're hard to hit (+2 dice to dodge, can dodge bullets) - **Level 4**: Perform multiple actions before others can react - **Level 5**: Move faster than the eye can follow, appearing as a blur **Rouse Checks**: Using Celerity powers typically requires Rouse checks, which can increase Hunger.
