Strength (Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5th Edition)
Definition
Strength represents the raw physical power of a Garou. For werewolves, this attribute takes on an entirely different dimension than for mortals. A Garou in Crinos form can tear through steel doors, hurl cars, and rend enemies apart with devastating force. Strength determines how hard you hit, how much you can lift, and how effectively you can grapple foes. In the war against the Wyrm, Strength is the attribute that lets a werewolf stand toe-to-toe with fomori, Banes, and other monstrous threats. Pack dynamics often place high-Strength Garou in the vanguard, where their raw power can break through enemy lines and protect weaker packmates. Rage amplifies Strength further, letting a frenzied werewolf perform feats that terrify even other supernatural beings.

Frequently asked questions
How does Strength change in different forms?
Garou gain significant Strength bonuses in Crinos and Hispo forms. Glabro provides a smaller bonus. Lupus form may reduce Strength slightly but increases other physical capabilities.
Is Strength or Dexterity more important for combat?
Strength determines damage output, while Dexterity governs accuracy and defense. Most combat-focused Garou invest in both, but Strength is generally prioritized for dealing with tough Wyrm creatures.
